The Homesteading Story
Together these five woodcuts tell the story of homesteading.
All are original limited edition prints, 7 by 9 inches,
using mulitple colors and printed on Shin Torinoko White.
This SOUVENIR POSTER is 11 by 16, with many glimpses of life in the homesteading era and images of facilities at Homestead National Monument of America.
This series of woodcuts was made whilte Artist-in-Residence at Homestead National Monument of America in October of 2019. This activity is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Minigrant Program, administered by the Central Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Regional Commission.
