I created these three woodcuts during a three week time on Hilton Head Island during March of 2023. While they represent places I saw there, they are really representative of so many places along the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico in the southern parts of the United States. When I see palm trees I know that I'm in a warmer place than my Michigan environs. The sandpipers dart here and there along all of the shorelines. And, the Spanish Moss hanging from the expansive twisted branches of the trees is remarkable to see.

Each of the three is 8 by 11 inches made by reduction using two blocks and 6 to 13 colors.
$120 unframed
$165 each, double matted and framed.

The Tall Ship Manitou sails out of Traverse City, offering a variety of short and longer tours. What great fun it is to get out into the bay or even into Lake Michigan!
