Something New!! Foldable Standable Accordion-Style Woodcuts!!
Patterned after small Korean art screens, these folding panels are hard like book covers and fold together, but they also spread to tell a story in a series of subjects.
This is a story both ancient and contemporary, rooted in the Judeo-Christian stories of creation so similar to others of that time and region. These six woodcuts tell of the way life evolved, from the beginnings of light and life to human existence, so small among the animals in the immensity of it all. Which is still where we are today: a tiny part of it all with the capacity to conserve or destroy these wonderful gifts.

Here are two sides of Lake Superior's many moods, in sunshine and storm. The woodcut folds into the inside of the two covers of this book. I made this while part of a workshop with Karen Kunc at her Constellation Studios in Lincoln, NE.
