I made this print as an assignment for Drawing and Painting 202 at Northern Michigan University. It has the most colors I have ever used. Marquette's Upper Harbor is dominated by this dock and the industrial giants who come with coal or leave with iron ore.
This print was accepted by the Bonifas Fine Art Center in Escanaba for their show entitled "Northern Exposure XXI" during November and December of 2014, featuring artists and art from the Upper Peninsula.

This print is the first I ever made, completed during a workshop taught by Woodblock Artist, Nick Wroblewski, at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais, Minnesota. It was printed on a press available to us there. The image depicts our view the Sand River from the deck of our home.
